2002 - 2011 Rest in Peace, Tilly... Tilly was all that a Labrador could be even before cancer cruelly shortened her life. She was a loving partner at home and everywhere else. She never needed a leash or collar and she understood English better than most humans. A most reliable and dedicated family member. She had great success in the show ring, winning a specialty and JAM and many best of breeds. She did lots of funny things too - like counter surfing the steward's table en route to earning her RN at the Potomac. In 2006 she was #19 Labrador and #6 Labrador bitch showing only 6 months. She was a wonderful mother of four litters, and even though they were small litters they were beautiful puppies. We are so proud of Hoagie in Amsterdam who is extending Tilly's (and Debbie's) legacy throughout Europe, and we are so glad to have Frederik with us here now to carry on the legacy in the US. Tilly loved to hunt - especially the continental pheasant shoots every fall. There she found her favorite high spot and scanned the sky for falling birds, proudly retrieving them with determination and elegant style. We will always miss our happy, bouncy, silly Tilly.
